Coaching Support for Funding
Arts Council England provide funding from £2000 – £10,000 to supports Creative Practitioners (see below) through their Develop Your Creative Practice (DYCP) fund.
The DYCP fund is for those Creatives thinking of taking their practice to the next stage investment in such areas as: research, time to create new work, travel, training, developing ideas, networking or mentoring.
GMIA are supporting the creative community with the process of applying for DYCP with specialised coaching all geared towards understanding the process, developing your ideas, access resources and completing the application with confidence. Register below for the support session you would like to attend and you will be notify of upcoming sessions. Previously project types covered include album/EP projects, production projects, mentoring & training, playwriting, film projects, visual arts projects, research & development and much more.
Acceptable Funding activities include: Research and development, training, mentoring opportunities, travel, building new networks, creating new work etc
Grant range: £2,000 – £10,000
Next application Round: Opens on 31 May 2022 closed 28 June 2022
Eligibility: Individual artists and/or creative practitioners. You can find full eligibility criteria in the guidance for applicants. Organisations cannot apply.

DYCP can’t support performers if they are performing someone else’s work without providing their own creative input or leadership.
