Vernette considers herself to be a ‘techie’ at heart, and is often helping and advising others about how to better embrace digital platforms in a balanced way. She loves finding new ways of working, being organised and has been a mentor to women for over 14 years.
Professionally, Vernette has been a speaker on radio and online platforms, presented podcast, as a digital consultant she has won and been nominated for business awards, and is often being asked to speak or deliver training and workshops about the digital space.
Vernette created and launched a 3-month digital business program to help women learn about using online tools for business. For her pioneering and innovative work in developing the ‘Digital School’, Vernette was recently recognised and named as the winner of the Baton Award for Services to Education.
