Tamara Schlesinger
As director of Tantrum Records, solo artist MALKA, and former lead singer/songwriter of 6 Day Riot, Tamara Schlesinger has written and released 7 albums in 14 years. She has enjoyed chart success, extensively toured the UK and North America, played at numerous festivals such as Glastonbury and Bestival, and has achieved acclaim from the major press. Her music has amassed a vast amount of play on national radio, and she regularly syncs her music to domestic TV shows (Skins) US TV shows (Awkward, Finding Carter), and Hollywood films and trailers (Scream 4, 127 Hours).
Tamara started in the industry over 14 years ago and has built her career from the ground up, creating her own record label and releasing her own music. She has managed and booked all tours for her various releases and draws from her degree in fashion from Central St Martin’s to create all aspects of the visual identity for her projects.
Having learned her trade as a practitioner Tamara now mentors various artists that are releasing their own music and has 5 years of experience lecturing and writing courses in the Music Business. Tamara is a regular panelist and guest lecturer at industry events and is still creating her own music and regularly touring and playing live.
Kenny Vaughan
Kenny is a music manager & rights specialist with success stories within indie and major record labels. He focuses on brands finding new business, solutions & improved revenue through data-driven strategy & creative application. After a Mercury Nominated artist campaign at an indie label, he now works as Sony Music’s Licensing Manager.
A tireless champion for progressive and just artist representation, Kenny has worked for years within the licensing and rights circles in the music industry. With an eagle eye cast over artistic decisions, he ensures that every step guarantees suitable commercial viability, without compromising the art. Sony Music named Kenny as one of 10 ‘Future Executive’ in 2019 after his development of a pioneering licensing system and several game-changing automation. Kenny continues to mentor, build partnerships and maximize creative uses of music across the industry today with the aim of automating artist’s admin to enable creatives to stay creative and encourage innovation.
Charlie Jungle-Schaber
Charlie is a Berlin-based art director, DJ, creative producer, graphic designer, and the magisterial head of IXCHEL. An insatiable maker-happener of things, Charlie’s infectious energy, and passion have seen him launch and grow the careers of some of today’s most exciting and critically acclaimed artists.
Jamie Turner
Jamie Turner is a young working professional within the music industry. Currently working for AWAL recordings, previously Kobalt Neighbouring Rights, Jamie is a Business Intelligence Operations & Analytics Manager. Her role involves using data solutions to provide valuable insight into streaming, financials, operation processes and KPI strategy within a thriving record label.
